2020新北「新」視野-新住民國際論壇

在全球化時代，人們跨國際的流動屢見不鮮，已然成為地球村的日常，而台灣身為海島國家，位居西太平洋交通要衝，更是匯集了包含原住民族、閩南、客家以及新住民的多元文化風貌。其中新北市人口已超過400萬人，新住民及其子女人口數也超過10萬人，都是全國最多，如何讓多元文化永續發展，並落實對文化的尊重、理解跟欣賞，是全球化時代必須思考的課題。
新北市做為全國新住民人口最多的城市，13年前創全國之先在教育局成立新住民文教輔導科，負責新住民及其子女的教育施政措施，同時在社政、衛生、民政、文化等面向也有相關局處協助推動施政措施。藉由論壇邀請國際學者及新住民與談，針對多元文化推廣與自身經驗進行分享交流。
In the era of globalization, people's cross international mobility is common, which has become the daily life of the global village. As an island country, Taiwan is located in the transportation hub of the Western Pacific Ocean. It is also a collection of multi-cultural features including indigenous people, Southern Fujian, Hakka and new residents. Among them, the population of Xinbei city has exceeded 4 million, and the number of new residents and their children has exceeded 100000, which is the largest in China. How to make the multi-cultural sustainable development, and implement the respect, understanding and appreciation of culture, is a topic that must be considered in the era of Globalization.
As the city with the largest population of new residents in China, Xinbei city set up the cultural and educational guidance section for new residents in the Education Bureau 13 years ago, which is responsible for the education and administration measures of new residents and their children. At the same time, there are also relevant bureaux to help promote the administrative measures in social, health, civil affairs and culture. Through the forum, international scholars and new residents are invited to talk with each other to share and exchange their own experience on multicultural promotion.

Submission Format
Each submission must be in English and should include the following items:
(1) The title
(2) The name and affiliation of the author(s)
(3) Contact information of the author (email and telephone number)
(4) Abstract (150-200 words)
(5) 3-4 keywords
After receiving the acceptance notification, the authors will be given the format they should use when presenting their final papers. Any submission deviating from these guidelines will be rejected without consideration of its merit.
It is recommended that a regular submission begin with a succinct statement of the problem being addressed, a summary of the main results or conclusions, a brief explanation of their significance, a brief statement of the key ideas, and a comparison with related work, etc.
Publication
All submissions will be blind peer-reviewed on the basis of technical quality, relevance to conference topics, originality, significance, and clarity. Accepted and selected papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, and some of them may be recommended to be published in a special issue of The Quarterly of Latin American Economy and Trade.
